Purpose
ALC Pregnancy Resource Center values the trust and confidence of every donor, volunteer, church, business, and community partner. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors and ensuring that all personal and financial information is handled with the highest level of integrity, confidentiality, and security.
Information We Collect
To properly acknowledge gifts and maintain accurate records, ALC Pregnancy Resource Center may collect:
- Name
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Donation history
- Payment information necessary to process charitable contributions
How Donor Information Is Used
Donor information is used solely to:
- Process charitable contributions.
- Provide tax receipts and gift acknowledgments.
- Communicate updates regarding the ministry, programs, events, and impact of donations.
- Inform donors of future opportunities to support the mission.
- Meet legal, accounting, and auditing requirements.
Confidentiality
ALC Pregnancy Resource Center will:

Donor Recognition
Unless anonymity is requested, donors may be acknowledged in publications, annual reports, event programs, or other recognition materials. Donors may opt out of public recognition at any time.
Communication Preferences
Donors may request to:
- Receive fewer communications.
- Opt out of fundraising appeals.
- Update their contact information.
- Change communication preferences.
- Be removed from mailing or email lists.
ALC Pregnancy Resource Center will honor these requests promptly.
Online Giving Security
Online donations are processed through secure, encrypted payment systems. ALC Pregnancy Resource Center does not store complete credit card information on its internal systems.
Record Retention
Donor records are maintained in accordance with federal and state regulations and accepted nonprofit record retention practices.
Staff and Volunteer Responsibility
All employees, board members, and volunteers with access to donor information are expected to:
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Use donor information only for authorized organizational purposes.
- Complete confidentiality training when applicable.
- Immediately report any suspected breach of donor privacy.
Unauthorized disclosure of donor information may result in disciplinary action.

Policy Review
